GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Ole Miss volleyball team (8-14, 2-10) dropped a 3-0 match to No. 10 Florida (16-3, 10-2)
Sunday at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, as the Gators claimed the season series with the Rebels.

In the first meeting in Oxford, the Rebels won the first set and were able to take Florida to five before losing.
This time however, it wasn't as close, as the Gators won 25-18, 25-13 and 25-16.

Junior middle blocker Miranda Kitts led the Rebels with five kills and a .267 attack percentage. Four other players
had four kills, including senior right side hitter Caitlin Weiss, who also tallied a team-high 11 digs.

In the first set, Ole Miss hung with Florida, only down 15-12, before the Gators went on an 8-0 run to go up 20-12
and eventually take the set 25-18. The Rebels fell behind 10-3 in the second set and never recovered. The Gators
built a 20-10 lead before taking it 25-13.

The final set saw the Rebels only trailing 12-9, before Florida would win four straight points to go up by seven (16-9). Ole Miss
never got any closer, as the Gators went on to take it 25-16 to wrap up the match.

Ole Miss will return to action next weekend as they host Tennessee Friday at 7 p.m. followed by Kentucky Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches will be televised by Fox Sports Net.
