OXFORD, Miss. -- After helping the Rebels to a 23-7 road win at Vanderbilt, Ole Miss' John Jerry earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors, as announced today by the league office.

A senior tackle from Batesville, Miss., Jerry anchored a Rebel offense that accounted for 397 total yards and 35:49 time of possession. He finished the game with 14 finishes, four knockdowns, graded 85 percent in run game and 97 percent in passing game.

The Rebel offensive line has allowed only one sack and had just 15 lost rushing yards in 43 attempts.

This marks the first SEC weekly award for Jerry and the first for a Rebel this season. Ole Miss garnered eight SEC Players of the Week in 2008, including three for offensive lineman.
