Reminder Of Football Gameday Information

10/6/2009 | Football

Ole Miss athletics would like to remind fans of some important gameday information as well as the existing stadium policies. Click here for complete gameday info or visit the 2009 Gameday Central.

GENERAL TICKETS

The ticket office would like to emphasize that everyone entering the stadium must have a ticket. Individual reserved tickets for the three non-conference games are available at $40 for sideline and $25 in the north endzone. Visit the OleMissSports.com ticket office or call (662) 915-7167 or 1-888-732-8587 (in state).

STUDENT TICKETS

All students will be required to show their student ID's to enter the stadium with a student ticket. Student gates are gates 28, 29, & 30. We recommend that students arrive early as there is usually a bottleneck trying to enter at these gates. When everybody shows up at the same time there is no way to get people inside the stadium in a timely manner.

CHILD POLICY FOR CLUBS

Effective this year, all Rebel Club and SouthZone Club donors will have the opportunity to purchase an infant ticket for the respective club area for children ages newborn to 24 months. This opportunity will only be available for the 2009 football season.
To purchase a club infant ticket, you must go to the gameday ticket office the day of the ballgame. The infant must be with you at the time of the purchase. The cost will be $100 and verbiage on the ticket will state that it is valid for stadium entry only for a child no older than 24 months.
Effective at the start of the 2010 football season, everyone (regardless of age) must have a club level ticket to enter the respective club area.

THROWING OBJECTS

Throwing of objects onto the playing will not be tolerated. Anybody caught throwing objects will be escorted out of the stadium and will be subject to appear before the judicial council. They may lose future ticket privileges. There are video cameras located inside the stadium with one focused on the student section. Violators can be identified.

PLAYING FIELD

It is SEC policy that fans are not allowed to come onto the playing field. This includes before, during, and after the game. Cameras will be used to identify anybody coming onto the field illegally.

ALCOHOL

Reminder that alcohol is prohibited inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Persons caught bringing alcohol in can be denied admission and have the alcohol confiscated. Anyone caught inside may be ejected from the stadium.
ITEMS NOT PERMITTED

In addition to alcohol, other items prohibited inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium include artificial noisemakers, food and drink containers, video cameras, umbrellas, sticks, banners larger than 8" x 11", backpacks and carry bags, chair backs larger than a single seat and any items deemed hazardous by game-management personnel.

New this year, there will not be allowed inside the stadium strollers, stadium seats with armrests or seats that are larger than 16 inches.

OTHER STADIUM RULES

• Vaught-Hemingway Stadium opens two hours before kickoff.

• Re-entry is prohibited. Anyone who leaves the stadium during the game will not be permitted to re-enter.

• There will be marked designated smoking areas for all who choose to smoke. These areas have been marked and designated signage has been placed to identify and locate these areas. However, there will be no smoking allowed inside the stadium, suites and press box. All individuals caught will be asked to go to the designated smoking area or asked to put the smoke out. If these individuals refuse, they will be escorted from the stadium by security.
