Boxx/Nijssen Finish Up Play At All-American

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The Ole Miss duo of Kristi Boxx and Karen Nijssen concluded play at the Riviera ITA All-American Championships Wednesday, falling in the final round of doubles at the Riviera Country Club.
The ninth-ranked duo defeated Liset Brito and Priscilla Castillo of Florida International 8-4 in the second round, before coming up short against the seventh seed, Taylor Marable and Hilary Bartlett of Princeton, 8-6. Marable and Bartlett exacted revenge for last year's loss to Boxx and Nijssen in the first round of the NCAA Doubles Championship.
The Rebels will be back in action Oct. 23-27 at the ITA South Regional Championships in Auburn, Ala.
