Egg Bowl Set For Morning Kickoff

OXFORD, Miss. -- The 2009 Egg Bowl will be a morning affair, as the Ole Miss-Mississippi State game on Nov. 28 will kick off at 11:21 a.m. CT in Starkville and be televised on the SEC Network, it was announced today.
The game will also be available on ESPN Gameplan and ESPN360.com.
The Rebels took control of the Egg Bowl trophy with a 45-0 blanking of MSU last year in Oxford. Ole Miss boasts a 60-39-6 edge in the all-time series and a 54-22-5 advantage in the Battle for the Golden Egg.
The Rebels (7-3, 3-3 SEC) host No. 8 LSU Saturday in Oxford, while the Bulldogs (4-6, 2-4 SEC) travel to Little Rock to face Arkansas this week.
