OFFENSIVE NOTES

  • With six receptions for 96 yards, senior WR Shay Hodge established the Ole Miss single-season record for receiving yards and becomes the first 1,000-yard receiver in school history with 1,023 ... He also hauled in his eighth TD of the year and 22nd of his career, which is within two of the Rebel all-time record.
  • Senior Dexter McCluster totaled 145 all-purpose yards with 82 rushing and 63 receiving, including a 52-yard TD reception ... For the first time in the last five SEC games, McCluster failed to reach 100 rushing yards ... He remains 15 yards shy of 1,000.
  • Junior QB Jevan Snead recorded his fourth three-TD game of the year ... He tossed multiple TDs for the seventh time this season and 13th time in the last 18 games ... Snead posted his seventh 200-yard passing game of the year and 14th of his Rebel career ... He finished 17-of-29 for 275 yards, three TDs and three interceptions.
  • Junior WR Markeith Summers registered his fourth TD catch of the year and third of 45 yards or longer, as he hauled in a 48-yarder in the fourth quarter ... Summers finished with four catches for 75 yards, and he is averaging 82.5 receiving yards over the last two outings.

DEFENSIVE NOTES

  • MSU's 41 points is the most surrendered by the Rebels this season.
  • Senior LB Patrick Trahan registered his first career interception and returned it 28 yards ... Trahan finished with double-digit tackles for the second time in his career with 10, including 2.0 TFLs and a sack.
  • Junior S Johnny Brown posted his fourth double-digit tackle performance of the year with 10 stops, including eight solos.
  • Senior S Kendrick Lewis posted at least nine tackles for the third time in the last four games with nine stops, including eight solos and two TFLs.
  • Junior LB Jonathan Cornell posted eight total tackles, including two TFLs, one forced fumble and one pass break-up.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES

  • Ole Miss successfully converted a fake punt in the first quarter with Billy Tapp completing a 20-yard first-down pass to Reggie Hicks for Hicks' first career reception.
  • Senior K Joshua Shene was good on both field goals, giving him six FGs in the past two games ... Shene improves to 15-of-17 on FGs for the year and 12-of-13 inside 40 yards ... Shene also connected on three PATs and finished with nine points.
