Limited Spots Remain For Ole Miss Softball Camps

OXFORD, Miss. - Just a limited number of spots remain for a a pair of camps hosted by the Ole Miss Rebel softball team. The Rebels will host a pitching clinic on Nov. 8 and a split-day hitting and pitching camp taking place on Dec. 5.
The Nov. 8 pitching clinic will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is for ages 12-18. Campers will be grouped by skill level and will receive instruction on drills, grips, stance, motion, pitches, and understanding pitching vs. throwing. The cost of the clinic will be $110 and players may register on-line by clicking here. Walk-ups will also be accepted, but campers must call Staci Ramsey at 662-816-4142 to reserve a spot.
The Dec. 5 split-day camp will feature a pitching session in the morning from 9 a.m. until noon followed by a hitting session from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The cost of each session is $110 and you may register for the pitching clinic by clicking here and for the hitting session by clicking here. Campers will be grouped according to age for both for the hitting session and by skill level for pitching. The pitching clinic will receive instruction on drills, grips, stance, motion, pitches, and understanding pitching vs. throwing, while the hitting session will consist of station work, as well as, covering the fundamentals of hitting, bunting and slapping. Walk-ups for each session will also be accepted, but campers must call Staci Ramsey at 662-816-4142 to reserve a spot.
