OXFORD, Miss. - All-SEC guard Bianca Thomas scored 23 points and hit seven three-pointers to tie the school record for the most treys in a game in leading Ole Miss to an 87-38 win over Centenary Tuesday afternoon from Tad Smith Coliseum.

Thomas joins Becky Myatt and Regan Seybert as the only three players in school history to hit seven three-pointers in a single game. In fact, it was the second time this season and third time in her career that Thomas has accomplished the feat.

Thomas entered Tuesday's game first in the SEC and fifth in the nation with 3.7 three-pointers made per game.

Sophomore Nikki Byrd scored a career-high 19 points and pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds, while fellow post Kayla Holloway also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The duo helped Ole Miss hold a 36-14 edge in points in the paint and a 28-0 advantage in second chance points.

Ole Miss (9-4) also dominated the boards and out-rebounded the Ladies 59-20 to mark the most rebounds in a game since the Rebels pulled down 62 against Rice in 2006.

Kayla Melson rounded out the Rebel quartet in double figures with 13 points, five assists and five steals. The Montgomery, Ala., native is second in the SEC and 20th in the nation with 6.1 assists per game.

Centenary (1-12) forward Ashley Jackson led the Ladies with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Ole Miss returns to action Sunday at 2 p.m. when the Rebels open conference play by traveling to Nashvillle to take on Vanderbilt from Memorial Coliseum.
