Rebels Complete Class With Signing Of Lor?Rena Dejurnett

OXFORD, Miss. Ole Miss track and field head coach Joe Walker announced Tuesday that high school senior Lor’Rena Dejurnett has singed a national letter intent to join the Rebel program next season.

 

Dejurnett is the seventh and final athlete to sign with Ole Miss during the early signing period.

 

A native of Inglewood, Calif., Dejurnett will arrive in Oxford via St. Mary’s Academy High School where she was one of the state’s top sprinters. 

 

Dejurnett owns personal best times of 11.80 in the 100 meters and 24.40 in the 200 meters. 

 

“Lor'Rena is an outstanding sprinter that can run all the sprints and both sprint relays,” Walker said. “She will be an outstanding athlete for us, and makes an already outstanding class of recruits even better.”
