Hi Rebel Fans,

We are on the road again after a big win at home against Kentucky. It was a hard fought game against Kentucky, but our intensity on defense and our rebounding were the keys to our win. Coach Ladner always stresses how important those things are in getting a win. We felt that Kentucky was a must win game to stay in the running for the SEC title.

Our practices were filled with so much energy this past week because we feel like we let the game against Tennessee slip away. We played extremely hard in that game, and we didn't finish what we started. We were heartbroken, but as coach says, you have to learn from it and move to the next one. I think we learned a great lesson and it made us a better team.

Now, we are back on the road and face a tough test at Auburn Thursday night. They are definitely one of the best teams in the SEC and in the country. They also have one of the best players in DeWanna Bonner. It is hard to win on the road, but we believe if we stick together we can do it. We are going to play OUR game. We take pride in our defense and our work ethic. We know that if we play defense, rebound and outwork our opponent we can play with anybody. We are excited about this game and hungry for another SEC win.

Thank you for your support of our team. We truly appreciate our fans. I hope to see everyone at our next home game against Mississippi State. Hotty Toddy!
