OXFORD, Miss. -- Four Ole Miss Rebels were honored with Preseason All-SEC distinction, including a pair of first team selections, as Consensus Draft Services released its award winners Thursday.

Greg Hardy and Joshua Shene received first team honors, while Jevan Snead and John Jerry were named to the second team.

A senior defensive end, Hardy earned All-America accolades the past two seasons and boasts 32.5 career TFLs and 21.5 sacks. Shene, a senior kicker, has already garnered preseason All-American third team honors from NationalChamps.net this spring and was a first team All-SEC pick in 2008.

A third team All-SEC quarterback in his debut season with the Rebels, Snead finished second in the SEC in TD passes and third in passing average and pass efficiency as a sophomore. Jerry enters his senior campaign having played in all 37 games over the past three seasons with 34 starts on the offensive line, including all 13 at right tackle a year ago.
