Jazmin Miller Inks With Ole Miss Track And Field

OXFORD, Miss. Ole Miss track and field head coach Joe Walker announced Thursday that Jazmin Miller has signed a national letter of intent to compete for the Rebels next season.

 

A native of Hiram, Ga., by way of Hiram High School, Miller has produced an outstanding career in both the hammer throw and weight throw.  She ranks fourth in the nation in the hammer throw with a personal best distance of 172-02.00.

 

Miller also ranks fifth in the country in the weight throw with a top mark of 55-03.00. 

 

“We are excited to have a thrower of her caliber joining us at Ole Miss,” Walker said.  “She adds to an already strong throwing program, and she joins a great female recruiting class.  She is an outstanding athlete and a great person, and we are excited about her future as a Rebel.”
