OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss senior men's tennis player Bram ten Berge was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI at-large first team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the organization and publication announced on Thursday.

Ten Berge, a senior from Maarssen, Netherlands, graduated from the University of Mississippi with honors in the Classics where he earned a 3.97 grade point average. He is the Boyd McWhorter SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and a candidate for the NCAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He will head to the University of Michigan in the fall on a full academic scholarship to obtain his masters and doctorate in Classics.

On the court, ten Berge helped lead the Rebels to the SEC regular season championship, the SEC Tournament Championship and the NCAA Elite Eight. Ten Berge and fellow senior Jonas Berg are the top seed in the NCAA Doubles Championship.

The ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District and All-America teams are voted on by CoSIDA members across the country and are divided into districts. Student athletes who are selected to the All-District first team are eligible for the national ballot.
