Men's Tennis Ends Season Ranked No. 4 Nationally

“We had an outstanding year,” head coach Billy Chadwick said. “It was a total team effort from top to bottom in the lineup. We got great leadership from the seniors (Jonas Berg and Bram ten Berge) as well as the other returning players (Kalle Norberg and Tucker Vorster), and then our freshmen (Devin Britton, Otto Sauer, Chris Thiemann and Marcel Thiemann) played a huge role in us finishing fourth in the nation, winning the SEC regular season and tournament championships and advancing to the NCAA Elite Eight.”
The Rebels won the program’s fifth SEC Championship in a year when the league had as many as five teams in the top 10. Overall, seven teams ended the year in the top 25. NCAA Champion Southern California earned the top spot followed by
Ole Miss posted a school record 27-3 overall mark, and went 11-0 in the SEC, becoming the second Rebel netter team to accomplish that feat.
A league-leading five Rebels earned All-SEC honors, while Chadwick was named Coach of the Year. All four freshmen earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors a total of six times, while
