Ole Miss Softball Cancels General Skills Camp

OXFORD, Miss. - A general skills camp for grades 2-8 set for June 15-17 hosted by the Ole Miss softball team has been canceled, it was announced on Wednesday.
A split-day pitching/hitting camp will still be offered for players aged 8-18 on July 14-15. The camp will feature a pitching session in from 9 a.m. until noon and a hitting clinic from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Those participating in the pitching session will be grouped by skill level. The camp will consist of drills, as well as going over grips, stance, motion, pitches and understanding pitching vs. throwing. The hitting camp will be grouped by age and will cover station work, as well as cover the fundamentals of hitting and bunting/slapping. The cost of each camp is $110 and campers will receive a $10 discount if they participate in both clinics.
