Bram ten Berge Wins NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

The scholarship is a one-time grant of $7,500 that is awarded to 29 men and 29 women across the country for each sports season fall, winter and spring.
“Bram represents what we strive for, to be the best on the court and in the classroom,” head coach Billy Chadwick said. “He is an exceptional student-athlete and is very deserving of this honor.”
A two-time All-American, ten Berge helped lead Ole Miss to two overall SEC Championships, the SEC Tournament Championship, the NCAA Final Four, two NCAA Elite Eight appearances and a final national ranking of No. 4 in 2009. He spent 14 weeks ranked No. 1 in the nation in doubles in his final campaign and ended his career with more than 100 doubles wins.
Off the court, ten Berge was a four-time ITA Scholar-Athlete, a four-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll and a member of the Chancellor’s Honor Roll every semester. This year he was named to the ESPN the Magazine CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large Second Team.
“Bram’s selection as a recipient of a NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship highlights a wonderful athletic and academic career at Ole Miss,” Athletics Director Pete Boone said.
