Swindall Helps USA To Gold, Earns First Team Honors

In the process, Swindall was named first team All-Tournament for his play on the offensive line as selected by the head coaches of the eight competing teams. The LaFayette, Ga., native started all three games at center for Team USA, as the Red, White and Blue posted a perfect 3-0 record and outscored opponents by a combined score of 174-3.
As a senior at LaFayette High School, Swindall earned first team class 3A All-State honors from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and was rated the No. 19 center in the nation by Rivals.com. He was coached in high school by his father Perry Swindall.
Swindall was one of 45 graduating high school seniors chosen to represent their country as a member of USA Football's Junior National Team, which competed against Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Sweden in the sport's first world championship on the international junior level.
