Ole Miss Breaks Football Season Ticket Record

OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss broke its football season ticket record Thursday. The previous high mark was 48,180 in 2004, and the current figure is 48,264 and rising.
"In my 15 years with the ticket office, I have never seen such excitement from our fans," said Sans Russell, Ole Miss Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations. "With less than 2,500 season tickets remaining and at our current rate of 100-150 sold per day, we expect to sell out of season tickets.
"If you have not purchased a season ticket and plan on attending a game this season, we encourage you to act quickly."
Russell noted that there are no season tickets remaining in the south and north endzones.
In addition, please be advised that individual ticket orders are based on availability and not guaranteed.
"As season tickets increase, the likelihood decreases for fulfillment of individual SEC home game ticket orders," Russell said.
