Women's Tennis Wraps Up Play At SEC Coaches Classic

Bartlett, who lost to Rebel Kristi Boxx at the beginning of last year, transferred to the Gators from Virginia. Guthrie defeated her 6-3, 6-3.
In other singles action, Karen Nijssen downed Ebie Wilson of LSU 6-4, 6-0; and Gabriela Rangel beat Kelsey Sundaram of Arkansas 6-3, 6-3.
On Saturday, the Rebel duo of junior Laura van de Stroet and senior Soledad Podlipnik won their respective doubles draw at the SEC Coaches Classic, downing Rita Maisak and Adriana Pereira of South Carolina, 8-3.
The Rebels will be back on the courts Sept. 18-20 at the Memphis Fall Tournament.
