OXFORD, Miss. - Coming off a successful weekend in Memphis, the Ole Miss women's tennis team heads to Gainesville, Fla., this weekend for the Gator Fall Classic hosted by the University of Florida at Scott Linder Tennis Stadium.

The Gator Classic will feature players from Florida, South Florida and Central Florida. Matches will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"We had a great tournament in Memphis last weekend, winning singles and doubles titles," head coach Mark Beyers said. "This will be a big tournament with a strong field, and we are looking forward to continuing our early success."

The Rebels captured three titles at the Memphis Collegiate Invitational last weekend from sophomore Abigail Guthrie and junior Connor Vogel in singles and Vogel and sophomore Gabriela Rangel in doubles.

Guthrie, who also won her draw at the SEC Coaches Classic, leads the team with a 5-0 record. Vogel won the Gray Draw, while also teaming with Rangel to capture the Blue Draw in doubles.
