9/3/2009 | Football

National media and college football fans can now follow Ole Miss' All-American candidate Jevan Snead online at Need4Snead.com.

The exciting new website provides an in-depth look at the Rebel quarterback with the latest news and stats as well as what others in college football are saying about the Stephenville, Texas native. The site will also provide weekly video highlights of Snead's performances during the 2009 season.

A junior signal-caller, Snead has been named to watch lists for the Walter Camp College Football Player of the Year Award, the Maxwell Award, the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award and the Manning Award.

Last year, Snead finished second in the SEC in TD passes (26) and third in passing average (212.5 ypg) and pass efficiency (145.5). His 2008 numbers rank behind only Eli Manning on the Rebel single-season passing charts for efficiency, TDs and yards.

Snead helped Ole Miss finish strong with six straight wins, including an upset of Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl, as Ole Miss compiled a 9-4 record in Houston Nutt's first year as head coach.
