Opening comments...
"To say we're extremely happy with this win would be an understatement. I'm very happy for Bianca Thomas, Liz Robertson, Katorra Lewis and all our seniors because every time we step on the floor, we say it's their last moment. They want to leave a legacy and they have a goal. I think Bianca Thomas was on a mission today, but I think she's been disrespected, for the most part, by the league. She has not been recognized for all of the big awards, and I think she's very deserving. She showed that today."
On finishing games...
"They're maturing. It's been painful overall the last two years where they would be right there and not get it done. I think they've paid their dues and they're finding ways to get it done. Everything's not pretty. We still don't always play really well, but they have the ability to make the next stop and the next play."
On Bianca Thomas...
"If you know Bianca Thomas and you know the young lady, she's the most unselfish individual you've ever met in your life. I think in the four years that I've coached her, I've never heard her use profanity, and I've never heard her say anything negative to a player. At times, I've really wanted her to get after someone and hold someone accountable, and what's bizarre is that we were concerned with her as a freshman. We thought she was too much of a finesse player, so she's evolved into a very nice basketball player, and I feel very proud to say I'm her coach because of the person Bianca Thomas is."
