OXFORD, Miss. - Natalie Gleadall, a native of Stratford, Ontario, Canada, and Alyssa Randolph, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., have joined the Ole Miss women's golf team this spring, head coach Michele Drinkard announced Tuesday. Gleadall transferred from Nebraska and will be eligible immediately, while Randolph comes from Kentucky and will have to sit out a year.

"We are excited to have Natalie and Alyssa join us this spring," Drinkard said. "Both players are very driven and bring a lot of playing experience and maturity with them. They have already energized our team with their enthusiasm and are eager to get started."

Gleadall played in every tournament for Nebraska and ranked 15th in the Big 12 this past fall with a team-leading 74.0 stroke average. She posted five top 10 finishes in her career, including three this past fall, and eight career top 25 finishes (five in 2009-10).

She produced five top-35 finishes in her first collegiate season in 2009, including a career-best tie for sixth at the UNLV Spring Invitational. Gleadall was tied for first after two rounds at UNLV after tying the Nebraska record with a five-under-par 67 in the second round. She finished the tournament with a career-best three-round total of 219.

"Natalie has been one of the top players in the Big 12 and will be able to compete for us immediately, which will add depth to our lineup," Drinkard said. "She impresses me with her ball striking and also hits it a long way too. With our structured practices we feel she is going to step it up to the next level and be one of the best players in the SEC as well."

Randolph played at the same high school (Farragut) as Rebel Jillian Brodd. As a freshman last year, Randolph recorded Kentucky's low round of the season in 2009, with a 4-under par 68 at the LSU Golf Classic and earned a top-10 finish at the LSU Golf Classic with a 214 (72-74-68). She helped lead the Wildcats to a first-place finish at the Lady Mocs Intercollegiate and led the team in fairways hit. A former Tennessee Player of the Year and U.S. Girl's Junior qualifier, Randolph competed in eight of Kentucky's 10 events as a freshman.

"Although Alyssa will not be able to compete for us this spring she will have an immediate impact," Drinkard said. "She is very competitive and will push the team in practice and qualifying. Our goal for her is to have her ready to compete in the major amateur tournaments this summer and be ready to compete for Ole Miss next year."

The Rebels kick off the spring season March 1-2 at the Kinderlou Challenge in Valdosta, Ga.
