OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss volleyball team will hit the road this weekend to kick-off a four-match road swing beginning at Arkansas on Friday night and continuing with a match at No. 16 LSU on Sunday.

Ole Miss (17-6, 11-3 SEC) is coming off a split that saw the Rebels fall for the first time at home to No. 1 Florida before rebounding to take down South Carolina to close out the weekend.

The Rebels have already defeated both Arkansas and LSU this season in Oxford, picking up a 3-0 win over then No. 12 LSU before downing the Razorbacks 3-1 as part of a seven match win streak.

"It's an exciting time of the year and each match is very important," said Ole Miss head coach Joe Getzin. "We have to prepare for each team individually and take what's in front of us first. Arkansas is a team that is playing very well and plays well at home. They have taken some very good teams to the brink and come up short. I know they'll be gunning for us.

"Just like our first match with LSU, it's one we look forward to. They are a very good team and well coached. That's the exciting part of playing at this level is playing in matches like this one."

The last time out against the Razorbacks, Ole Miss was led by outside hitter Whitney Craven who put down a career-high 22 kills and hit .426 in the victory over Arkansas. She was also joined by senior middle blocker Miranda Kitts who hit .476 and put down 11 kills with five blocks.

The back row defense of the Rebels was paced by the solid performances of Morgan Springer and Emily Kvitle who came up with 18 and 11 digs, respectively, against the Razorbacks. Ole Miss also out-blocked Arkansas 12.0 to 6.0 in the match.

The Razorbacks enter the weekend with a three match win streak after defeating Georgia on the road and returning home to down Alabama and Mississippi State. Freshman setter Raymariely Santos was named the league's Freshman of the Week for her performance against the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs.

Ole Miss and Arkansas kick-off the weekend matchups with a 7 p.m. first serve on Friday night. Fans can follow all of the action via live stats at www.OleMissSports.com.
