Ole Miss Rifle To Host Nevada, UTEP

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Rebel rifle team will welcome Nevada and Texas-El Paso to Oxford on Saturday for a dual-match competition at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.
"We are excited to face off against Nevada and UTEP," said Ole Miss head coach Valerie Boothe. "This is the first game Reno has come to Oxford. They are both good teams and we will have to bring our A-game on Saturday."
Last time out, senior Meredith Holman led the Rebels in air rifle with a score of 585 at Jacksonville State, while freshman Melissa Quartarone paced the team with a mark of 573 in the smallbore.
All Ole Miss home matches take place at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness located off Hwy. 7 and are open to the public. Competition begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
