Phillips Named To ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Squad

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss senior Wesley Phillips has been selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District first team as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the organization and publication announced on Thursday.
The Madison, Miss., native boosts a 3.91 GPA in civil engineering and has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, as well as the university's Chancellor's Honor Roll. Phillips serves as the starting long snapper on the Rebel football team and has not recorded a false snap all season.
This is Phillips' first selection to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team and he is now eligible for Academic All-America honors.
