Holiday Hoopla: Upcoming Ole Miss Basketball Promotions

OXFORD, Miss. - Rebel fans will not want to miss any of the great basketball game deals that will be offered in the coming weeks as part of the Ole Miss Holiday Hoopla.
The Holiday Hoopla promotions begin this Monday when the Ole Miss men take on Mississippi Valley State at 7 p.m. Anyone who brings a toy for "Toys for Tots" will be admitted free. Collecting the toys will be the Panola Kappa League and Let's Talk It Out Foundation.
There are also several local businesses who will give away two free tickets to Monday's game when certain purchases are made. Participating businesses include Big Star, Car Wash USA, Cellular South, Chick-fil-A, Kroger, My Favorite Shoes, Neilson's, Papa Johns, Rebel Rags, Rebel Shop and University Sporting Goods.
In addition, any Ole Miss faculty/staff with a valid ID will receive free admission for themselves and three guests. All parking lots around Tad Smith Coliseum will be open and free of charge.
The Rebel women will play Mississippi Valley State on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Anyone who brings two nonperishable food items for the Oxford Food Pantry will receive free admission.
Admission is 100 percent FREE for the Dec. 18 men's game against 2010 NCAA Tournament team ETSU (3 p.m.). Also as part of Rebel Basketball's Fan Appreciation Day, parking is open in all of the lots surrounding Tad Smith Coliseum.
The women's game on Dec. 21 against the Miami Hurricanes (Noon) also features FREE admission. There will be a special treat for younger Rebel fans (and the young at heart): something about a large man with a white beard and a red suit.
The men's game on Dec. 30 against Alcorn State (7 p.m.) is another Hoopla special in which local businesses will offer two free tickets with certain purchases.
Closing out the Holiday Hoopla is a men's/women's doubleheader on Jan. 2. The women open Southeastern Conference play against Vanderbilt (2 p.m.), and kids up to age 14 can enter to win a portable hoop. The men's game against Southeastern Louisiana (6 p.m.) will feature another local business ticket special.
