Rebels To Host Spring Tournament On Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss volleyball team will be hosting its annual spring tournament on Saturday, April 24, with teams from across the region coming to participate in the exhibition.

Admission to the event is free as the seven teams competing in the tournament will face-off throughout the day at the Gillom Sports Center and Tad Smith Coliseum on campus at the University of Mississippi.

"We are off to a great spring," said Ole Miss head coach Joe Getzin. "We've played some top competition and have been holding our own, so I am very happy with the progress we've made so far. I know the team is happy to be at home again at the Gillom Center. We invite the public to stop by and check us out."

Participating in the event this weekend along with the Rebels are: Christian Brothers, Lipscomb, Mississippi State, Murray State, Samford and UT-Martin.

Ole Miss will play all of its matches at the Gillom Center with contests at 9:00 a.m., 11:20 a.m., 1:40 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
