Two Rebels Earn NCAA All-American Accolades

Robertson finished in fifth place in the high jump with a height of 7-02.50, while Moleton turned in an eighth place finish in the javelin throw with a school record distance of 227-05.00.
It is the second straight year that Moleton has earned All-American accolades after finishing in 11th place in the javelin throw last year as a junior.
Moleton and Robertson helped Ole Miss record a total of five points and a 45th place finish.
Sophomore Caleb Lee registered a 21st place finish in the long jump with a distance of 23-10.25
Ole Miss senior distance runner Barnabas Kirui qualified for the finals of the 3,000 meter steeplechase after posting a time of 8:43.66 Wednesday on the first day of the championships.
Kirui finished in 13th place in the finals after recording a time of 9:03.64.
Martin Kirui also participated in the 3,000 meter steeplechase and finished with a time of 8:49.71 in the semifinals.
Freshman sprinter Mike Granger turned in a time of 10.46 in the 100 meter semifinals, while sophomore Carson Blanks recorded a time of 51.93 in the 400 meter hurdle semifinals.
On the women's side, freshman Neal Tisher posted a new school record in the pole vault with a height of 13-01.50 on her way to a 15th place finish.
The 4x100 meter relay team of Lor'Rena De'Jurnett, Kristin Bridges, Jasmine Williams and LaJada Baldwin finished with a time of 45.35 in the semifinals.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Sofia Hellberg-Jonsen, Sofie Persson, Bridges and Baldwin posted a time of 3:39.12 in the semifinals.
Ole Miss returns to action June 24-27 when the Rebels compete in the USA Track and Field Championships from Des Moines, Iowa.
