OXFORD, Miss. - Highlighted by CBS Sports' Tim Brando and country music performer Darryl Worley, Ole Miss' 10th annual Ladies' Football Forum held July 23-24 was a roaring success with more than 400 women attending the event.

With a weekend of activities that included a concert, fashion show and the usual insight into the game from the Ole Miss coaching staff, Ladies' Forum Coordinator Chyna Ward-Poley said this year's event was the best one yet.

"This was easily the best weekend we have had in my 10 years. We had over 150 freshmen, or first-year attendees, which is my main goal every year. I always want a big freshman class - that means the word is getting out. We also had women attend from 16 states and as far away as California."

On Friday, the forum began at the Inn at Ole Miss with the first-ever High Heels & Hotty Toddy's Fashion Show, featuring the Rebel coaching staff's wives and children, and a private concert from country music performer Darryl Worley.

"The models made the event," said Ward-Poley. "I couldn't have asked for anything better! I think the coaches' wives and children really enjoyed themselves. Darryl Worley was amazing! He even surprised the women with a meet and greet following his concert."

Saturday participants were addressed by Tim Brando and talked x's and o's with the Rebel defensive staff before learning what the Rebels go through to get ready for a game, touring the weight room, training room and locker room and watching a highlight video.

Following the tour of the football facilities, 16 women who have attended all 10 years of the Ladies' Forum were presented with a personalized game ball to commemorate the occasion.

"It's hard to believe it's been 10 years," said Ward-Poley. "The women have really answered the need for this event. This is truly an experience that women will thoroughly enjoy. It's a chance for them to be inside and behind the scenes of the Ole Miss football program and to get to know the coaches a little better."
