SERIES INFORMATION
- Today's meeting was the first meeting between the Rebels and the Bulldogs. Ole Miss now holds a 9-1 record all time against teams from the WAC.
- Ole Miss is now 2-0 all time versus teams from California having won its only previous meeting against Long Beach State in 1971.

OFFENSE
- Ole Miss used its fourth-different starting offensive line of the season.
- Ole Miss recorded four offensive plays of 50 yards or longer in the game. The Rebels had two such plays on the season coming into the game.
- The Rebels racked up 425 yards rushing which is the most since rushing for 433 yards against Tennessee in 1977. It is the eighth-highest mark in school history.
- Ole Miss' 55 points scored is tied for the 12th-most in school history and the most since the Rebels scored 55 points against Arkansas State in 2003.
- Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli's 56-yard run in the first quarter doubled his previous long of 28 yards earlier this season.
- Brandon Bolden's 71-yard touchdown run to open the second half is the longest of his career. His previous long was 45 yards against Northern Arizona last season. Bolden's next carry went for 60 yards and is the second longest of his career. He finished the game with 228 yards on 19 carries for a 12.0-yard average. The 228 yards is a career high and the sixth-high total in school history.
- Jeff Scott's 55-yard touchdown run was the longest TD run by a Rebel freshman since Mico McSwain's 60-yard scoring run against Wyoming in 2005.
The Rebels have now scored on their first possession in three-of-four games this season.
DEFENSE
- Allen Walker forced his first career fumble in the second quarter against the Bulldogs. Charles Sawyer recovered the fumble, which was fumbled again and returned 29 yards by Marcus Temple.
- Walker finished the game with a career-high 10 tackles and 2.0 quarterback sacks. He also tied a career-best with 2.5 TFLs.
- Senior Jonathan Cornell set a career-high with a team-best 12 total tackles.
- The Ole Miss defense allowed 30 rushing yards to Fresno State, which is the fewest allowed since the Rebels held Mississippi State to minus 64 yards rushing in 2008.
SPECIAL TEAMS
- Allen Walker blocked Fresno State's 47-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter. It was the Rebels' first field goal block of the season and first since Kendrick Lewis recorded a block against Tennessee last year.
- Bryson Rose converted 2-of-3 field goal attempts, connecting on from 20 and 40 yards, and nailed all six PATs for a career-high tying 12 points. Rose is now 6-of-8 on field goals attempts and 17-for-17 on PATs on the season.
- Jesse Grandy's 51-yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter was the first of his career on only his second-career punt return. It was the first punt return for a score since Marshay Green's 77-yard return against Samford in 2008 and Grandy's third career special teams TD.
