Senior Jonathan Randolph will be blogging on OleMissSports.com throughout the 2010-11 men's golf season. The Brandon, Miss., native grabbed headlines last year, winning three times en route to earning first team All-America honors. Already this year, he has been named one of the Top 10 Players to Watch by Golf World.
Hey there everyone,
It's time for the start of a new season, and the Ole Miss Golf team is already in Georgia and ready to get the year underway! We will be opening up our season at the Carpet Capital Collegiate for the third straight year. The field this week will be one of the strongest that we play in all year, and the course is top notch.
After a six-hour ride in the team's sprinter van, which involved a few good movies on the TV, we arrived in Dalton. We are all looking forward to getting a good night's sleep and heading to the course Thursday to get in a solid practice round.
The mood on the team is very upbeat, and we are all very excited about everything coming up this year. We returned all of our starters from last year and also added a talented freshman to the squad. With all of the experience that we brought back from last year, we are ready to get back out on the course and start proving it to the rest of the country.
