Ole Miss Rifle Hosts Memphis

OXFORD, Miss. - Fresh off a road win over UTEP, the Ole Miss rifle team will welcome the Memphis Tigers to Oxford on Wednesday for a match at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center. Competition will begin at 1:30 p.m.

"We were able to pick up a nice road win against UTEP to give us momentum heading into this match against Memphis," said Ole Miss head coach Valerie Boothe. "Now, we just have two days to prepare for the Tigers so we have to remain focused."

Junior Keely Stankey and freshman Melissa Quartarone both fired a total of 578 in the smallbore over the weekend to help lead the Rebels to a 4635-4627 road win over UTEP.

All Ole Miss home matches take place at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center located on Sisk Ave. off Hwy. 7 and are open to the public.
