Ole Miss Athletes Assist With Tornado Cleanup

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss student-athletes from the softball, track, volleyball and women's basketball teams recently assisted with tornado cleanup efforts in the Pine Flat community just south of Oxford.

The student-athletes pick up debris, including tree limbs, branches and garbage, in the area that was affected by the EF-3 tornado that hit the community on April 27. They also donated several cases of Gatorade to the donation center at Pine Flat United Methodist Church.
