OXFORD, Miss. - Members of the Ole Miss women's tennis team ended the year nationally ranked in the season-ending Campbell/ITA National Singles and Doubles Rankings announced this week.

Kristi Boxx, a native of Grenada, Miss., concluded the year ranked No. 31 in the nation in singles and No. 1 in the Southern Region. Boxx earned All-SEC first team honors for the third consecutive year becoming the second player in the history of the program to achieve that feat.

Boxx helped lead the Rebels to their third straight NCAA appearance. She qualified for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships for the third year in a row and posted a 22-12 overall record. After being injured most of the season, Boxx won seven of her last nine matches.

In doubles, Boxx teamed up with Abby Guthrie to post a final ranking of No. 54 in doubles and No. 2 in the Southern Region.

The Rebels had two freshmen this past season, and both contributed a lot of wins. Caroline Rohde-Moe concluded her first year at No. 113 in the nation and No. 6 in the Southern Region. She posted a 15-8 record.
