OXFORD, Miss. - The excitement surrounding the Forward Together campaign for Ole Miss Athletics reached another high on Thursday, as the UMAA Foundation announced the campaign has reached $25 million.
With CGA's continuing to pour in before the October 7 Loyalty Reward deadline, the campaign appears to be picking up steam.
"We had a really big week with CGA's and we anticipate another big week to come with the Leadership and Loyalty reward deadline just around the corner," said Danny White, Executive Director of the UMAA Foundation.
Similar to a Personal Seat License (PSL), commonly found in professional leagues, the CGA provides donors some ownership over their seats. With benefits like transfer rights and donation guarantees for 10 years, CGA holders acquire rights that are not common in college athletics.
The Loyalty Reward offers double priority points for the early commitment, while the Leadership Reward offers triple priority points for the signed CGA and full payment of the capital gift by October 7.
"The south suites, Rebel Club and south end zone club seats in particular are attracting a lot of interest. We've had a tremendous response from our current suite and club seat holders so far," White said. "In addition, many people who have been considering a suite or club seats see this as a great opportunity to get their foot in the door.
"Courtside club seats and arena club seats are selling quickly, and we have a lot of people asking about basketball suites, which has been a pleasant surprise," White added.
With excitement surrounding the CGA program and growing interest in naming opportunities in and around the new facilities, commitments are expected to continue.
"We believe this is only the beginning of what will be an extremely successful campaign. We are humbled by the generous support that the Ole Miss family continues to show," said Pete Boone, Director of Athletics.
