OXFORD, Miss. - While the football team heads to California, the Ole Miss soccer and volleyball teams are at home this weekend, with several promotions on tap for both Friday and Sunday. Softball is hosting the NPF All-Star Team on Saturday.

Soccer welcomes No. 20 Auburn Friday at 7 p.m. for Youth Night. All youth soccer players who wear their jerseys will be able to join the team on the field for the national anthem and teams from OPC will play an exhibition game at the half.

In addition, Ole Miss will be collecting canned goods/monetary donations for the SEC's Together We Can Food Drive. Student-athletes will be collecting the donations from 6-7 p.m. at the main gate.

Sunday's action-packed day begins with Soccer hosting Alabama at 1 p.m. in the team's second annual "Pet a Puppy" Campaign.

The Rebels are teaming with the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society and are asking fans for donations including toys, puppy collars, food, polar fleece blankets, kitty litter, paper towels and hand sanitizer. In addition, adoptable animals from the shelter will be at the game. Halftime will feature a performance by the Frisbee Dogs from K9 Air with the Amazing Flying Nash and his sidekick Airy.

All fans that bring a donation to the game will receive an Ole Miss key chain.

Following the soccer match, the Rebel volleyball team hosts arch-rival Mississippi State at 4 p.m. with ESPNU televising the match. Fans will have the opportunity to win prizes including tickets to the Alabama football game on Oct. 15 and an Ipod Nano.

Fans can ride the Double Decker bus from the Residential College to the Gillom Sports Center from 3-6 p.m.

Admission to both soccer and volleyball is free.

As mentioned up above, the Rebel softball team is hosting the NPF All-Star Team for the second year in a row on Saturday. The game will be held at 4 p.m. at the Ole Miss Softball Complex as part of the 2011 NPF "Back to School" tour. Admission to the contest is $5 at the gate. As part of the day's festivities, Ole Miss will also host a clinic for youth players ages 5-12 before the exhibition game. The camp will begin at 9 a.m. and give participants an opportunity to learn basic skills from the Rebel softball team and staff.
