OXFORD, Miss. - In preparation for the largest, most comprehensive fundraising capital campaign in the history of Ole Miss Athletics, the UMAA Foundation has announced a new staffing model.

Sans Russell, Senior Associate Athletics Director, will be shifting from Priority Seating and Ticket Operations and will now manage Development Operations, including the new Capital Gift Agreement (CGA) initiative.

"Sans has over 30 years of experience with Ole Miss in a number of different roles," said Danny White, Senior Associate Athletics Director and Executive Director of the UMAA Foundation. "As our fundraising efforts have expanded, so too has our need for someone with experience in a development operations position. Sans will be a huge asset for us and his new role will prove pivotal as we embark on the Forward Together campaign."

Allen Greene was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Development in January and will now have increased responsibilities with the oversight of three priority seating drives and ticket sales for the UMAA Foundation.

"Allen has done an excellent job for us with the Vaught Society," White said. "He brings a high level of professionalism, integrity and charisma which will make his transition into Priority Seating and Ticket Sales a seamless one."

Keith Carter, also an Assistant Athletics Director for Development, will expand his role with the oversight of philanthropic giving, which includes the 5-Star Fund, Vaught Society and Forward Together campaign.

"Keith's experience in major gift fundraising with the Vaught Society has helped prepare him for his new role leading our philanthropic giving for the Forward Together campaign," said White.

Evin Beck and Eric Gross joined the UMAA Foundation staff in March 2010 as Assistant Directors of Development. Both Beck and Gross have been promoted to Associate Director of Development. Beck will focus on priority seating and ticket sales, while Gross will work with philanthropic giving and the Forward Together campaign.

"Both Evin and Eric have done a great job since they joined our staff," added White. "We expect big things from both of them as we move forward."

Matt Mossberg, a former player and assistant coach with the Rebel baseball team, will join the staff as a Major Gift Officer to assist with fundraising for the campaign.

"We are excited to add someone as talented as Matt Mossberg to our staff," said White. "His experience in coaching will prove very valuable as he makes the transition into fundraising."

The UMAA Foundation is coming off consecutive record fundraising years for Ole Miss Athletics, raising $17.5 million for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011. The Forward Together campaign was announced on August 9 and seeks to raise $150 million for athletics facilities.

"It is a very exciting time for Ole Miss Athletics," added White. "We feel that this new model will put us in the best position to be successful in all of our fundraising initiatives."
