Davis Invited To Battle of Florida All-Star Game

OXFORD, Miss. - Enrique Davis is one of four Ole Miss Rebels competing in postseason all-star games, as the running back will compete in The Battle of Florida, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. CT in Boca Raton, Fla.
The inaugural game, which is being televised by Fox College Sports, features NFL draft-eligible collegiate players with ties to the state of Florida. It pits coaches Bobby Bowden against Howard Schnellenberger.
A native of Lynn Haven, Fla., Davis rushed for 864 yards and eight touchdowns over his four seasons in the Red and Blue. In 2010, he turned in a 116-yard rushing performance against Louisiana-Lafayette and a 61-yard, two-touchdown outing vs. Jacksonville State.
Other Rebels playing in all-star games include Kentrell Lockett and Bradley Sowell in the East-West Shrine Game and Wayne Dorsey in the Casino Del Sol Game.
