Bryson Rose Picks Up SEC Weekly Honor

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - For his performance in the Rebels' 41-20 win over Auburn, Ole Miss kicker Bryson Rose was named Southeastern Conference Co-Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Rose scored 11 points against the Tigers, going a perfect 5-for-5 on PATs and 2-for-2 on field goals, connecting from 39 and 28 yards. He also averaged 56.7 yards on seven kickoffs, recording three touchbacks.

The Raleigh, N.C., native moved into third place all-time at Ole Miss with 93 career PATs and fifth place for points by a kicker with 189.

He shared the honor this week with Arkansas kicker Zach Hocker and Tennessee kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson.
