TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Ole Miss women's tennis junior Caroline Rohde-Moe is one win away from earning a trip to New York for next month's USTA/ITA National Indoor, as she advanced to the final of the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships Sunday with two wins at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.

The final will pit the tournament's top two seeds as Rohde-Moe, No. 2, faces No. 1 Alexa Guarachi of Alabama Monday after the doubles final.

Ole Miss had two players reach the semifinals as both Rohde-Moe and sophomore Julia Jones advanced from the quarterfinals Sunday morning. Rohde-Moe dominated Kaitilin Burns of LSU 6-1, 6-0 and Jones topped Karoline Grymel (Troy) 6-3, 6-4.

Rohde-Moe defeated Crimson Tide newcomer Natalia Maynetto 6-1, 7-6(2) in one semifinal, while Jones lost to Guarachi 6-1, 6-3 in the other semifinal.

In the B Draw singles, junior Vivian Vlaar, playing her first tournament of the fall after a second surgery on her wrist over the summer, won the draw. She downed Rosaura Ramirez-Vega of Troy 6-2, 6-0 in the final. Vlaar did not drop a set in any of her four matches this weekend.
