Richard and Laurie Noble of Indianola have pledged $20,000 in support of Ole Miss Athletics.

Both graduates of the University of Mississippi, Richard is a past president of the Alumni Association, and also served on the search committee for the head football coach and athletics director.

The Nobles made this gift in honor of Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze and Athletics Director Ross Bjork.

"We are very thrilled with the direction of our athletics department and wanted to honor the job that both Coach Freeze and Ross Bjork have done at Ole Miss," said Richard Noble. "We also wanted to do our part to help ensure a bright future for Ole Miss Athletics."

The gift will be applied to Forward Together, a $150 million athletics facilities campaign. The campaign has raised more than $76 million since its launch in August of 2011.

"The Nobles are great ambassadors for Ole Miss," said Bjork. "This is another great example of giving what you can in support of Ole Miss Athletics. If we are going to complete this campaign and secure a very bright future for our athletics program, it is going to take the entire support of Rebel Nation."
