NEW ORLEANS, La. - Haley Sanders and Haley Millsap each shot a 4-over 76 at the English Turn Gulf & Country Club to lead the Rebels to a 306 score on the second day of the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Monday.
No. 4 Southern Cal shot a 292 to stretch their lead to four strokes with No. 13 Duke, No. 17 Colorado and No. 19 Baylor sitting four, five and six strokes back, respectively.
Sanders, who shot a 77 on Sunday, rolled in a pair of birdies and sits at 9-over for the tournament.
Millsap got off to a nice start, shooting an even-par on her first nine holes.
After firing a 73 in the first round, Natalie Gleadall could not find her groove Monday and shot a 77 for the day. The senior does sit just three strokes back from a top-10 finish and one from the top-20.
Senior Ashley Lance was the most-improved of the day for the Rebels, also shooting a 77-seven strokes better than her score on Sunday.
Freshman Taelor Rubin carded a 7-over 79.
