Rebels Conclude Play In Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Junior Haley Sanders carded a 2-over 74 in the final round of the All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate, as the Rebels concluded play with a 307 to finish in 15th place on Tuesday afternoon at the English Turn Golf & Country Club.
No. 13 Duke took home the tournament championship with a final round of 288 to best No. 17 Colorado and No. 4 Southern Cal. Alex Stewart of Colorado took individual honors with a final score of 5-under.
With her 74 in the final round, Sanders finished in 40th and notched the best overall finish for the Rebels at 11-over.
Senior Haley Millsap also put together her second consecutive solid round with a 75.
Freshman Taelor Rubin turned in her best round of the tournament with a 78.
The Rebels will return to action March 16-18, as they take part in the Suntrust Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
