THIS WEEKEND FOR OLE MISS:
Ole Miss continues to play at home as part of a 13-game home stand at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field this weekend. The Rebels host a three-game set against Miami (Ohio). The games against the Redhawks will be set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 12:30 p.m. on Saturday (to accommodate basketball) and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

NEXT WEEK FOR THE REBELS:
Ole Miss hosts four games next week, kicking things off with a midweek contest Tennessee-Martin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will then host a three-game series against the Cougars of Houston over the weekend. Friday's game is set for 6:30 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday's games start at 1:30 p.m.

PROBABLE PITCHING MATCH-UPS:
FRIDAY, 6:30 P.M.
MU - Mac Thorseon, Jr., RHP
OM - Bobby Wahl, So., RHP
NOTING WAHL: Sophomore right-hander Bobby Wahl enters the weekend looking to pick up his third win of the season after posting a 2-0 mark in his first two weekend starts for the Rebels. Wahl holds a team-leading 1.50 ERA through a team-high 12.10innings of work and is coming off a career outing against UNC-Wilmington that saw him work 7.0 innings and strike out nine batters on the way to being named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week. In that outing, he combined with two other Rebels for a two-hit shutout of the Seahawks.

SATURDAY, 12:30 P.M.
MU - Brooks Fiala, Jr., RHP
OM - R.J. Hively, Sr., RHP
NOTING HIVELY: Senior right-hander R.J. Hively is set to take the mound for the second game of the series and make his third start of the season for Ole Miss. Hively leads the team with 13 strikeouts heading into the series and has posted an overall record of 1-0 with a 4.66 ERA. Hively took no decision in his first start of the year at No. 10 TCU before picking up his first win of the season a week ago against UNC-Wilmington to clinch the weekend series for the Rebels.

SUNDAY, 1:30 P.M.
MU - Shawn Marquadt, Sr., LHP
OM - Mike Mayers, So., RHP
NOTING MAYERS: Sophomore right-hander Mike Mayers is slated to close out the weekend rotation when he takes the mound for Sunday's series finale against the Redhawks. Mayers has posted 12 strikeouts and four walks in his two appearances this season. The sophomore suffered the loss in relief in his first outing at No. 10 TCU in a rain-shortened series that prevented him from making a start in the opening weekend of play. He took no decision in his second start last weekend against UNC-Wilmington, working 5.0 innings in the start.

A LOOK AT MIAMI (OHIO):
The Redhawks of Miami (Ohio) enter the weekend series with an overall record of 3-3 and are coming off 1-2 performance at the First Pitch Tournament last weekend. The Redhawks fell to Michigan State and Furman before rallying to beat Michigan State in the final game of the weekend. Miami also picked up two wins at Furman in a weekend series to start the season. Kevin Bower leads the Redhawks at the plate with a .625 average, a single home run and a team-best nine RBI. Sunday starter Shawn Marquadt is the top pitcher on the team, holding a 1-0 record with a 3.09 ERA and posted a complete-game shutout over Michigan State this past Sunday on his way to being MAC Pitcher of the Week.

OLE MISS VS. MIAMI (OHIO):
Ole Miss has never faced Miami (Ohio) on the baseball diamond. This will be the first meeting between the two schools.

LISTEN TO THE GAMES ONLINE:

In addition to the RebelVision option for video and audio, fans can also download the Ole Miss App for their phone and receive live stats and streaming audio right in the palm of their hand.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME:
The home field has been kind to the Rebels during Bianco's tenure as Ole Miss has posted a 289-108-1 record within the friendly confines of O-U Stadium/Swayze Field for a (.727 winning percentage) at home.

OLE MISS VS. NON-CONFERENCE FOES UNDER BIANCO:
Ole Miss has posted an impressive non-conference record over the course of the past nine seasons under head coach Mike Bianco. Since Bianco's arrival in Oxford in 2001, the Rebels have posted a 234-84-1 (.735 win percentage) mark in non-conference foes. Just a year ago, the Rebels were 17-8 in non-conference games, posting a .654 win percentage.

HIT STREAKS ON THE LINE:
Five Rebels hold hit streaks of more than one game heading into the weekend series against UNC-Wilmington. Junior Andrew Mistone holds an active hit streak of five games for the longest on the team. Senquez Golson and Zach Kirksey have both hit safely in four straight games, while Will Allen has hit in three consecutive games. Auston Bousfield also holds a two-game hit streak.

TAKE A HIKE:
Ole Miss put together a disciplined performance at the plate against Jackson State in the first meeting between the two teams. The Rebels drew 13 walks, three off the school record of 16, and were paced by a three walk night from freshman Sikes Orvis.

STRONG IN RELIEF:
Ole Miss has gotten solid production out of its relief pitching this season. The opening weekend at No. 10 TCU is the only time Rebel relievers have been charged with runs. Since the fifth inning at No. 10 TCU (when Mike Mayers gave up two runs), the Rebels have pitched 26.1 consecutive innings in relief without a reliever being charged with a run. Of the 22 runs the Rebels have allowed this season, 18 of them have come off the starting pitching. Only one inherited runner has been allowed to score in 2012.
