OXFORD, Miss. - With three outstanding seniors leaving the program after this year, Ole Miss women's tennis head coach Mark Beyers announced the signing of Swedish standout Marija Milutinovic to a national letter of intent. She will join the program beginning in the fall of 2012.

A native of Stockholm, Milutinovic (Mill-uh-TEN-oh-vich) is ranked No. 2 in juniors in Sweden. She has won the Swedish National Championship in doubles and is a two-time finalist in singles. In addition, Milutinovic won three straight Swedish Team Championships. Milutinovic achieved a career-high ranking of No. 196 in the ITF Junior Rankings and has won three ITF Junior Doubles titles. She also reached the singles finals in three ITF junior events.

"Marija is one of the top junior players in Sweden. She is a solid doubles player, who will help us immediately in both singles and doubles," Beyers said. "She's a great addition to this team. Marija is a very experienced player and a fantastic student."

The Rebels reached the semifinals of the SEC Championship this past weekend and now await the NCAA Selections to see if they will get to host the NCAA first and second rounds.
