GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Freshman Lauren Lindsey picked up her first collegiate hit and RBI and Allison Brown and Londen Ladner each drove in a run, but Ole Miss dropped Sunday's series finale 14-3 at No. 6 Florida.

The Gators grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first after leadoff batter Michelle Moultire reached on a bunt single, stole second, moved to third on a groundout and finally scored on a wild pitch from Ole Miss starting pitcher Kendall Bruning. Florida added a pair of runs in the second on a sac fly by left fielder Jess Damico and a bases-loaded hit by pitch of third baseman Sam Fagan that put UF put 3-0 after two.

Florida tacked on ten more runs in the third capped by a pair of home runs from designated player Bailey Castro, who hit a two-run shot and followed it up with a grand slam that extended the Gator lead to 13-0.

The Rebels struck back in the fourth after leadoff batter Brittany Broome walked to start the frame, moved to second on a wild pitch and with one out advanced to third on center fielder RT Cantillo's single to left that gave Ole Miss runners on the corners. First baseman Londen Ladner followed Cantillo with a double off the wall in left that plated Broome and freshman shortstop Allison Brown added a sac fly to right that bought Cantillo home for Ole Miss' second run of the inning. Lindsey then singled through the right side of the infield to score pinch runner Dallas Hardin from third.
