OXFORD, Miss. - The 2012 Ole Miss volleyball team will have two matches featured on TV this fall, with both matches occurring in the friendly confines of the Gillom Sports Center.

The Rebels' match against Southeastern Conference newcomer Missouri on Oct. 19 will be shown on SportSouth at 7:30 p.m. CT. The SportSouth footprint includes FS Southwest and FS Midwest. Two days later, Ole Miss will face off against South Carolina on Oct. 21 in a 1:30 p.m. CT match on CSS.

"We're excited for two of our SEC home matches to be shown on TV," Ole Miss head coach Joe Getzin said. "The quality of SEC volleyball is always top notch, and it's great to have newcomer Missouri here and to have that match on TV. I think we have some of the most passionate fans in the country and they make the Gillom Sports Center one of the toughest venues to play at in the conference. With those two matches being shown on TV, it will be a great weekend to come out and support Ole Miss volleyball."

Ole Miss will begin preseason practices for the upcoming 2012 campaign Aug. 8. The regular season begins Aug. 24 with the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla. The Rebels will face Miami (Fla.) on day one of the tournament before going up against Samford and Wofford to close out the weekend tournament.

The Rebels open the home slate of matches with the Magnolia Invitational on Sept. 7 with a double-header against Alabama A&M and Rice at 1:30 p.m. CT and 7:00 p.m. CT, respectively.
