Rebels Head To Florida For USTA Futures

OXFORD, Miss. - Members of the Ole Miss men's tennis team will head to Niceville, Fla., this weekend for the USTA Futures.
The Bluewater Bay Pro Circuit Championships will be held at the Bluewater Bay Tennis Center. The event features a qualifying draw of 128 players starting Friday, Nov. 1. The 32-player main draw will begin Monday, Nov. 4, and competitors will look to earn ATP ranking points.
Vinod Gowda and Zach Wilder of Ole Miss will be competing in the qualifying, along with senior Johan Backstrom, who will see his first singles action of the fall. Gowda and Wilder both competed in the USTA Futures in Birmingham but did not advance to the main draw.
