Softball Announces Summer Camp

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss softball team will be hosting the Softball Summer Camp, which will feature four sessions over a two-day period.
The Ole Miss Softball Summer Camp is a two-day camp running from June 17-18. The camp is open to girls aged 10-rising high school seniors. Session one, June 17, will cover hitting and base running from 9 a.m. to noon. Session two will begin one hour later and run from 1-4 p.m. and will cover pitching, catching and defensive positioning. Session three will run June 18 from 9 a.m. to noon, and will cover hitting, slapping and base running. The fourth and final session of camp will begin one hour later, and will run from 1-4 p.m., covering pitching, catching and defensive positioning.
Campers will need to bring gloves, a bat and cleats, and the camp will take place at the Ole Miss Softball Complex. Each session costs $75 and will differ in drills, techniques and instruction. There will be a $25 discount for those signing up for all four sessions. One t-shirt will be given to each camper.
